Why Applications Fail

Don't Risk Your Career on Compliance Errors.

Work permit applications face intense scrutiny from Service Canada and IRCC. A simple mistake in a job description or advertisement can result in an immediate refusal. We ensure 100% compliance.

Incorrect LMIA Processing

Employers frequently fail LMIA applications by missing strict advertising and prevailing wage requirements. We guide employers step-by-step through ESDC compliance.

Has your LMIA been refused? →

NOC Code Mismatches

Selecting the wrong National Occupational Classification (NOC) code will misalign your job duties with IRCC's expectations, leading to rapid rejection. We map this flawlessly.

Inadequate Proof of Experience

Officers demand precise experience letters that directly mirror your prospective job duties. We audit your employment history to ensure it meets IRCC's exact standards.

Types of Canadian Work Permits

There is no single "Canada work permit" — there are dozens, each with its own rules, eligibility, and PR pathway. We help you pick the right one.

1. Employer-Specific (LMIA-based)

Requires a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) — your employer proves no Canadian worker is available. Most common for skilled trades, hospitality, and specialised roles.

2. Open Work Permit

Allows you to work for any employer in Canada, in any role. Available to spouses of skilled workers, PGWP holders, and certain permanent residence applicants.

3. Int'l Mobility Program (IMP)

LMIA-exempt work permits for categories like intra-company transfers, post-graduation work, spouses of skilled workers, and reciprocal employment.

4. Global Talent Stream (GTS)

Fast-track work permits (2-4 weeks) for in-demand tech and STEM roles through designated employers. Highly sought-after for engineers and specialists.

5. Seasonal Agricultural (SAWP)

For workers in agriculture from approved countries (Mexico, Caribbean). Employer-specific, time-limited.

6. Post-Graduation (PGWP)

For international graduates of Canadian DLIs. Open work permit, valid up to 3 years. Often the first step toward PR.

Which Permit Fits Your Situation?

"I just graduated from a Canadian college or university"
PGWP — open, valid up to 3 years, leads to PR.
"My spouse is on a skilled work permit or study permit"
SOWP — work for any employer while your spouse holds status.
"A Canadian company has offered me a job"
LMIA-based — your employer handles the LMIA; we handle your application.
"I'm a software engineer / data scientist with a job offer from a designated Canadian tech employer"
Global Talent Stream — fastest processing (2-4 weeks).
"I'm being transferred to Canada by my current employer"
ICT — IMP work permit, LMIA-exempt.
"I want to work in agriculture / farming"
SAWP — for approved countries.
"I don't have a job offer yet"
You may still qualify for an Open Work Permit if you're the spouse of a PR applicant or apply through Express Entry with a PNP.

Why Permits Get Refused

1. Negative LMIA

ESDC finds the employer could have hired a Canadian. Fix: We ensure wage compliance and proper recruitment effort documentation.

2. Inconsistent Qualifications

IRCC suspects you aren't qualified. Fix: We align your resume and reference letters perfectly with the NOC job duties.

3. Misrepresentation

Hidden previous refusals or false history. Fix: Total transparency. We disclose everything truthfully.

The Path to Permanent Residency

Most Canadian work permits are designed as stepping stones to PR. We plan your path from day one.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Best for: Skilled workers with 1+ year of Canadian work experience in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 via Express Entry.

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Best for: Workers in occupations in demand in a specific province. Adds 600 CRS points.

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)

Best for: Workers abroad with strong credentials who don't yet have Canadian experience.

Work Permit FAQs

How long does a permit take to process?

Most work permits take 8-16 weeks. Global Talent Stream is faster — typically 2-4 weeks. Some IMP permits process in 4-8 weeks.

What's the difference between LMIA and IMP?

LMIA: Your employer proves no Canadian worker is available. Adds 8-12 weeks. IMP: LMIA-exempt categories (ICT, GTS, PGWP). No employer LMIA required, faster processing.

Can my spouse work on my work permit?

Yes — but only in specific cases. If you have a skilled (TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) work permit, your spouse can apply for an Open Work Permit (SOWP) and work for any employer.

Can I switch employers?

Only on an open work permit (PGWP, SOWP). On an employer-specific permit, you need a new work permit with a new LMIA or new employer.

What is NOC TEER?

NOC assigns every job a TEER category (0-5). Skilled experience in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 counts toward most PR pathways (CEC, PNP). We confirm your eligibility.

What if my permit expires before PR?

You can apply for a bridging open work permit (BOWP) if you're in PR application processing. This keeps you legal and working while PR is finalized.

Can I include my family?

Your spouse and dependent children are usually processed separately (spouse open work permit, visitor visas for children). We coordinate all family applications together.
